A little setup. Then play.

Install Ruleta on your Mac, find your way around, and get ready for your first spin.

01 / INSTALLmacOS · Available now

From download to desktop.

You’ll need an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later. Check your Mac in Apple menu → About This Mac.

  1. Download your copy.

    After payment is confirmed, select Download Ruleta for Mac. Save your private download link for later.

  2. Open the disk image.

    Open Ruleta.dmg in Downloads. A window with Ruleta and an Applications shortcut will appear.

  3. Drag it into Applications.

    Drag the Ruleta icon onto the Applications shortcut. Wait for the copy to finish.

  4. Open Ruleta. You’re in.

    Launch Ruleta from Applications, then eject the disk image in Finder. Your first round is ready.

A small app, close at hand.

Ruleta lives in the menu bar, so it won’t appear in the Mac Dock. Click its menu-bar icon and choose Show Ruleta whenever you want to bring it back.

A note for Windows & Linux.

These builds are previews and haven’t been tested on their native systems yet. The website purchase currently provides the Mac release.

Windows

For Windows 10 or 11, x64. If you have a preview ZIP, extract the entire archive, then open Ruleta.exe. Keep the supporting files together.

The preview is unsigned and may show an unknown-publisher warning.

Linux

For x86_64 desktops. If you have the preview archive, extract it and run ./Ruleta from its folder, or use Start Ruleta.sh.

Requires a graphical desktop and Electron system libraries. Tray and pin behavior can vary by desktop environment. Run as your normal user.

A few things to know.

I closed the window. Where did it go?

The minus button hides Ruleta. On Mac, click Ruleta’s menu-bar icon → Show Ruleta. Choose Quit Ruleta from the same menu to fully exit.

My Mac says the app cannot open.

Check that your Mac has an Apple silicon chip and macOS 14 or later. Move Ruleta into Applications and try again. The Mac download is Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple. If macOS reports a damaged file, download a fresh copy from your private link.

Do I need an account or internet to play?

No account is needed. Download your copy online; the game itself works offline.
